Deck The Halls - Christmas Blog Hop

Welcome to the Deck The Halls - Christmas Blog Hop.

This first card uses a new set "Angels Sing".  This one was fun to color.  I used Copics...E55, E57, E59; R85, R89; BG72, YG11, YG13 & YG17; N1 & N4.

Next, another new set, "Hung on a Tree".  I plan on making this one for my Christmas cards this year.  I only used 3 Copic markers (G82, G94, G99) green pastel chalk and some red liquid applique.

Thanks for stopping by.  Hope you enjoy the rest of the hop.  Scroll to the bottom to continue on...

More Birthday cards

We have so many birthdays in November.  Here are a few more birthday card ideas.  First, I used "Delightfully Spooky" which is actually a Halloween set but I love this little butterfly girl.  I think you can use her anytime she is so cute.  Very simple using the Caboodles Copic Set C and coordinating cardstock.  This is where all the work The Angel Company did matching the markers to the cardstock makes creating a card so easy.

Next card, I used "Theo". This cat is little crazy, but when he is colored he comes to life.

Stamp: Theo

--Copics Used--
Cat: E31, E35, E51, E04
Chair: E55, E57, E59
Net: N1, N4

Paper: Bazzill Grays

The background is light blue chalk on this card.  Another neat technique we learned at TAC's Coloring class.  We experimented with mixed mediums, using chalks and colored pencil with Copics.

Hope you enjoy!

Good Things

I've been wanting to use this stamp set "Good Things" for awhile.  We used it in the Copic Coloring class which just made me want to create something with it even more. I love this truck.

So last night, I started...trying to come up with a card for my brother's birthday.  This is what I came up with.  The diamond plate is created with a Cuttlebug embossing folder.  Thanks for the idea Christine!  I used foil which is really delicate and can crush and tear easily; a slightly thicker foil or mirrored cardstock may be work better.  The detail is really good with foil though.

Stamp Set - Good Things
Copics Used: R35, R37, R59, T2, T5, T7, E31, E33, E35
Cardstock: Bazzill Raven and Crimson

Next, I will be working on my Thanksgiving and Christmas cards.  I need to come up with something easy enough to make 80 of.  I should have started a couple months ago ...{sigh}

Thanks for stopping by...
