Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas Eve Day!

Today, I have a prototype card I made for this year,
but making 90-100 seemed like too much for the
time I had to make them.

It is a simplified version of a posted card idea on
Taylored Expressions website, for the Nativity border die.

The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions set Rejoice!

Cardstock is PTI White, Kraft and Black.
Inks are PTI black and Pure Poppy.

The red and white striped grosgrain ribbon is May Arts.

I hope to use this card next year.  This has never happened, imagine to
have a Christmas card design a year in advance and even a few made!

Christmas Cards 2016

Happy Saturday!

This year for my Christmas cards, I made two variations of the same card.
I made 97 cards this year, about half of each design.
I cut the white panel with the star cut out on my Brother Scan N Cut.

I stamped the mini Nativity in the lower right hand corner.
The stamps are from PaperTrey Ink - only $5 for a great mini nativity!

The inks are PTI Enchanted Evening and Dark Indigo.
Cardstock used is PTI White and Enchanted Evening.

The second card below, I used stamps from Taylored Expressions - Rejoice!

I added Metallic Silver Washi tape strip down the left side and also
to the blue cardstock behind the star, so it would be silver.

A great way to add a little sparkle.

Inside Verse:

And she will bear a Son, and
you shall call His name Jesus, for He
will save His people from their sins.”
Matthew 1:21

May the beautiful gift of Jesus
fill your home this holiday season
and throughout the coming year.
 Merry Christmas!

It was nice to make a handstamped card this year.
The last couple years I used printed images for the sake of time.

Next week, I will have another Christmas card prototype,
which I hope to use next year.  This has never happened, imagine to
have a Christmas card design a year in advance and even a few made!

Happy Anniversary 2

Happy Saturday!

Today, I have another Anniversary card I made this year.
This card uses several dies.
The white cardstock perimeter with dot border
The diagonal stitching was cut with Die-namics Stitched Strip
The hearts are part of this die set.

The Happy and Anniversary stamps are from Hero Arts
stamp and cuts set - Happy.
I used the Happy die to add a layer.

Cardstock and ink are PTI White and Pure Poppy.

Butterfly Birthday

Happy Saturday!

Today, I have a birthday card inspired by one made by NinaB.
This is my version, using stamps I had in my stash.
The birthday background is from My Favorite Things.

The butterfly (TAC) was colored with colored pencils.
Found some new colored pencils earlier this year -
I'm really happy with them.  The colors are really bold.  Love that!
